Freddie King III is a 2002 graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School, and a 2006 graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University.  While at Southeastern, Mr. King became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and was a four-year football letterman.  He was a member of the team that brought football back to SLU in 2003. After graduating from SLU with a degree in political science, he attended Southern University Law Center Graduating in 2010.  After completing law school, he started The King Law Firm L.L.C. He also worked for the City of New Orleans in the City Council’s Office, and as an Orleans Parish Public Defender. Freddie King III is married to CaSandra Marie King, and they have five bright & energetic children. 

The Honorable Freddie King III is presently a Councilmember in the City of New Orleans, District C. He serves on several Standing Committees, Advisory Committee and Chairs the Community Development Committee. He positions himself to listen to neighbors, families, and Business Owners, speaking to them face to face about their challenges.  From the Bywater to the Cutoff, Freddie makes their problems his own and is finding real solutions to enhance Quality of Life for all New Orleanians.

Freddie King believes in giving back to our community. He sponsors and participates in Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaways, Thanksgiving & Christmas Meal Events, Algiers Children's & Senior Citizens Christmas Parties, Gun Exchanges, NOPD Breakfast/Dinner Roll Calls, Conversation with The Judges and Councilman, Scholarship Mixers and a Women & Men’s Youth Symposiums. Mr. King is involved in the Silverback Society, Algiers Economic Development Foundation, Heroes of New Orleans, and several additional Organizations. 

Freddie doesn't only live in District C, but he runs his small business in the district - right on Newton Street in Algiers. He is a voice for the community and a Servant Leader to all.
