5.  Ordinance Cal. Nos.  33,342 and 33,343 - (Introduced June 3, 2021) by Councilmembers Brossett and Moreno

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,550 M.C.S. and 28,551 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2021,” to appropriate funds from Intergovernmental Transfers to the General Fund for the reimbursement of services rendered in connection with utility rate matters for the Council Utilities Regulatory Office; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto. 

6.  Resolution No.  (To be introduced July 1, 2021) by Councilmember Brossett (By Request)

This Resolution provides for the incurring of debt and the issuance of not exceeding One Hundred Thirty Million Dollars ($130,000,000) of Taxable Limited Tax Refunding Bonds, Series 2021, of the City of New Orleans, Louisiana (the "2021 Refunding Bonds"); prescribing the form, terms and conditions of the 2021 Refunding Bonds; designating the date, denomination and place of payment of the 2021 Refunding Bonds; providing for the payment thereof in principal and interest; appointing a Trustee for the 2021 Refunding Bonds; awarding the 2021 Refunding Bonds to the Underwriters named herein; authorizing the execution of a Certificate of Determination; and providing for other matters in connection therewith.

7.  Motion No.  M-21-218 by Councilmember Brossett

This motion authorizes the final year of the contract with Hammerman & Gainer, Inc. (“HGI”) for Board of Review Tax Appeal Management Services for tax assessment year 2022, and also request staff to issue an RFP for Board of Review Tax Appeal Management Services for the tax assessment year 2023 and four subsequent years.

8.  Ordinance Cal. No.  33,348 - (Introduced June 3, 2021) by Councilmember Brossett (By Request)

This Ordinance amends and re-ordain Ordinance No. 28,549 M.C.S., entitled “An Ordinance Providing a Capital Budget for the Year 2021,” to effect the following change to the 2021 Capital Budget: to de-appropriate funds from the Chief Administrative Office, the New Orleans Police Department, the Department of Property Management, the Department of Public Works, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, and the Municipal Yacht Harbor; to appropriate funds to the Chief Administrative Office, the Department of Property Management, the Department of Public Works, and the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

9.  Ordinance Cal. No.  33,357 - (Introduced June 17, 2021) by Councilmember Brossett (By Request)

This Ordinance amends and re-ordain Ordinance No. 28,551 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2021” to transfer funds from the Mayor’s Office of Youth & Families personal services to the Mayor’s Office of Youth & Families other operating to fund 100 seats to the New Orleans City Seats program, which provides high quality child care to low income families with children ages 0-2 years;  and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

10.  Ordinance Cal. No.  33,358 - (Introduced June 17, 2021) by Councilmember Brossett (By Request)

This Ordinance amends and re-ordain Ordinance No. 28,551 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2021” to transfer funds from Miscellaneous Programs to the Coroner’s Office to replace the X-Ray machine that was destroyed due to a burst water line in their building; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

11.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,359 and 33,360 - (Introduced June 17, 2021) by Councilmember Brossett (By Request)

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,550 M.C.S. and 28,551 M.C.S, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2021"; to appropriate funds from the U.S. Department of the Treasury to the Office of Community Development to fund the Emergency Rental Assistance program to New Orleans residents, who qualify for rental assistance; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

12.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,361 and 33,362 - (Introduced June 17, 2021) by Councilmember Brossett (By Request)

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,550 M.C.S. and 28,551 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2021” to appropriate state funds awarded by the Louisiana Department of Treasury to the Mayor’s Office of Youth and Families for reimbursement of funds that have been previously disbursed; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
