6.  Update on production of reports due to Council pursuant to the Code of the City of New Orleans and the Home Rule Charter of the City of New Orleans following correspondence sent to the City Attorney on January 10, 2022.

7.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,736 and 33,737 - (Introduced May 19, 2022) by Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Morrell, Green and Thomas 

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,862 M.C.S. and 28,863 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2022” to appropriate funds to Miscellaneous Programs to fund recruitment initiatives being undertaken by the New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation to assist with police recruitment within the City of New Orleans; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Transferring $900,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues Miscellaneous Programs – Reserves for Consent Decree.

8.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,726 and 33,727 - (Introduced May 19, 2022) by Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Morrell, Green and Thomas (by Request)  

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,862 M.C.S. and 28,863 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2022” to appropriate state Capital funds that will be used to purchase approved Equipment and Supplies for The New Orleans Police Department; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Transferring $180,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues to The New Orleans Police Department - Special Services (equipment & supplies).     

9.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,728 and 33,729 - (Introduced May 19, 2022) by Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Morrell, Harris and Green (by Request)  

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,862 M.C.S. and 28,863 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2022” to appropriate grant funds from The Delta Regional Authority Delta Workforce Grant to the City of New Orleans Office of Workforce Development for the Project Rebirth program to build a Re-Entry Talent Pipeline over a two-year period; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Transferring $68,600 from Intergovernmental Revenues to the Office of the Mayor – Workforce Investment.

10.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,730 and 33,731 - (Introduced May 19, 2022) by Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Morrell, Green and Thomas (by Request)  

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,862 M.C.S. and 28,863 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2022” to appropriate federal funds awarded by the Corporation for National and Community Service to the Mayor’s Office AmeriCorps VISTA Program; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Transferring $144,628 from Intergovernmental Revenues to the Office of the Mayor - Personal Services.    

11.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,742 and 33,743 - (Introduced May 19, 2022) by Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Green and Thomas (by Request)  

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,862 M.C.S. and 28,863 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2022” to appropriate grant funds awarded by JP Morgan Chase & Co. through an agreement with the New Orleans Business Alliance towards the economic development of the water management industry cluster in New Orleans; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Transferring $151,825 from Intergovernmental Revenues the Office of Economic Development.     

12.  Amendments to the Classified Pay Plan - Adopted by the Civil Service Commission on May 16, 2022:

a)  M-22-242 (for discussion only) – Equipment Maintenance Division (New Classifications – Revised Automotive Series)

b)  M-22-243 (for discussion only) – Police (Hiring Rate for Crime Laboratory Director) 

c)  M-22-244 (for discussion only) – Library (Public Services Administrator – New Classification)

d)  M-22-245 (for discussion only) – Health (Dentist Supervisor – New Classification)
