These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grant funds awarded by the State of Louisiana to the Office of Homeland Security for the Urban Area Security Initiative; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description:  Transfer $777,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Dept. of Homeland Security (FUND 4136) – Personal Services $150,000 and Other Operating $627,000

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grants funds to the Office of Homeland Security for the State Homeland Security Program to purchase equipment and supplies; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Transfer $127,497 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Louisiana Military Dept. (FUND 4412) – Office of the Mayor in Other Operating

6.  CAL. NOS.  34,207 and 34,208 - BY:   COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) - For Discussion and Vote

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate unspent grant funds awarded by the State of Louisiana to the Department of Homeland Security to purchase equipment and supplies; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description:  Transfer $20,573 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Louisiana Military Dept. (FUND 4412) – Office of the Mayor in Other Operating

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grant funds to the Department of Homeland Security for the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Program to purchase equipment and supplies; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description:  Transfer $63,998 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Dept. of Homeland Security (FUND 4136) in Other Operating

8.  CAL. NOS.  34,211 and 34,212 - BY:   COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) - For Discussion and Vote

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grant funds awarded by FEMA to the Chief Administrative Office to cover the eligible clearance testing costs at New Orleans Facilities during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description:  Transfer $36,159 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Dept. of Emergency (FUND 4115) - Chief Administrative Office in Other Operating

9.  CAL. NOS. 34,213 and 34,214 - BY:   COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) - For Discussion and Vote

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grant funds awarded by FEMA to the Chief Administrative Office for debris removal cost during the aftermath of Hurricane Ida; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description:  Transfer $4,538,184 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Dept. of Emergency (FUND 4115) – Chief Administrative Office in Other Operating 

10.  CAL. NOS. 34,215 and 34,216 - BY:   COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) - For Discussion and Vote

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grant funds awarded by FEMA to the Chief Administrative Office for debris removal costs incurred during the aftermath of Hurricane Ida; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:
