5. Motion – M-24-304 By: Councilmember Morrell (By Request) – Authorizing the Council President to sign the professional services agreement between the Civil Service Commission and Jay A. Ginsburg for hearing examiner services for $30,000 for one year.
6. Motion – M-24-305 By: Councilmember Morrell (By Request) – Authorizing the Council President to sign the professional services agreement between the Civil Service Commission and IAS Law, LLC for hearing examiner services for $15,000 for one year.
7. Motion – M-24-301 By: Councilmember Morrell (By Request) – Authorizing the Council President to sign the Amendment No. 5 to the professional services agreement between the City and Cornerstone Government Affairs, Inc. for state lobbying services to extend the agreement through November 31, 2024 and to increase the maximum compensation by $288,000.
8. Discussion and vote on Cal. No. 34,742 By: Councilmember King – An Ordinance to amend and reordain section 34-4 of the Code of the City of New Orleans relative to the schedule of Carnival parades to move the scheduled parade date for the ALLA carnival organization to the Wednesday preceding Mardi Gras Day; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
9. Discussion on Parking Enforcement along Bayou St. John by Public Works Department. Rick Hathway, Director of Department of Public Works, to appear.
10. Discussion on Short Term Rental Enforcement and Planned Reforms to the Department of Safety and Permits. Thomas Mulligan, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Office of Business and External Services, to appear.
