1. Roll Call:  Simonette Berry, IATSE 478, Trey Burvant, Second Line Stages, Brittany Chandler, New Orleans Film Office, Alice Glenn, New Orleans & Company, Todd Lewis, Producer, Greg McNamara, Location Manager, Carroll Morton, New Orleans Film Festival, Nguyen D. Phan, City of New Orleans, Jason Waggenspack, The Ranch Film Studios

2. Selection of New Orleans Film Advisory Committee (NOFA)Chairperson
a. Board will nominate and select NOFA chairperson

3. Read Motion M-25-9 and review tasks of the Committee
a. Objective of NOFA is to review best practices nationwide as it relates to the responsibilities and priorities of a film office including but not limited to:
i. Structure, staffing, oversight, and responsibilities
ii. Implementation of a newly created film permit to determine any gaps or needs in its roll out
iii. Appropriate budgeting and funding for the administration of the office 
iv. Appropriate budgeting and funding for the marketing of New Orleans as a place to film
v. Any other matters that may properly come before the committee

4. Administration of NOFA
a. Meeting dates, times & agendas (all meetings will be held in City Council Chambers)

i. Meeting #1 – Wednesday, March 19th - 1pm to 2:30pm
Define Office, duties, responsibilities, structure
(ref. Discussion Topics 1-3 below)

ii. Meeting #2 - Monday, April 14th – 1pm to 2:30pm
Film Permit history, necessity, creation, timeline implementations
(ref. Discussion Topics TBD)

iii. Meeting #3 – Monday, May 12th – 1pm to 2:30pm
Budgeting, funding & oversight of Office
(ref. Discussion Topics TBD)

b. Council staff will release agendas, reserve chambers and take light notes. Detailed notes will be recorded and distributed to members a few days after meeting 
c. Agendas, presenters, documents, PowerPoints must be submitted to staff 36 hours prior to the meeting to ensure proper distribution

a. Why is a film office necessary?
b. What are the responsibilities and service the office should provide to the production?
c. What are the responsibilities and service the office should provide to the public?
d. What are the responsibilities and service the office should provide to city government? 
e. Examples of Best Practices from similar jurisdictions

7. Committee Discussion Point #2 – Communication
a. What are some of the challenges presented to the office in terms of communications between entities? (i.e. Office to Production; Office to Locations; Office to City)

8. Committee Discussion Point #3 – Structure & Staffing of the Office 
a. What should the interdepartmental structure be of the office?
b. What are the jobs required and descriptions of those jobs for the office to be properly staffed?
