13. Ord. Cal. No. 35,117 (Introduced 05-08-2025) - By: Councilmembers Morrell, Moreno, Harris and King
This Ordinance amends Ordinance No. 30,140 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2025”, ” to subdivide the “Other Operating” fund allocation for the Department of Sanitation, to de-appropriate monies from certain sub-divided categories; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
Description: This Ordinance deletes the Other Operating (200) appropriation in the Department of Sanitation, and transfers $71,242,723 to 200(A) in the Department of Sanitation (General Other Operating Expenses including professional services agreements other than for Sanitation Area 5), and 200(B) Professional Service Agreements for Sanitation Area 5.
14. Ord. Cal. No. 35,143 (Introduced 06-12-2025) - By: Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Green and Thomas (By Request)
This Ordinance amends and re-ordain Ordinance No. 30,141 M.C.S., entitled “An Ordinance Providing a Capital Budget for the Year 2025”, to effect the following change to the 2025 Capital Budget: to de-appropriate funds from the Department of Property Management, the New Orleans Fire Department, and the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission; to appropriate funds to the Department of Property Management, Department of Public Works, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, the Office of Resilience and Sustainability, and the New Orleans Police Department; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
Description: This Ordinance De-appropriates $180,545 and appropriates $12,053,080 in various departments.
15. Ord. Cal. No. 35,144 and 35,145 (Introduced 06-12-2025) - By: Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Green and Thomas (By Request)
These Ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 30139 M.C.S. and 30140, as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2025”, to appropriate funds to various departments to cover essential public safety expenses incurred during the Mardi Gras and Super Bowl events in FY25; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
Description: These Ordinances transfers $2,734,110 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the General Fund (FUND 1000) in Other Financing Sources use of Fund Balance (Other Operating 200).
