  3. Presentation – 2025 Hurricane Preparedness
    Hurricane preparedness strategies will be presented ahead of the 2025 hurricane season from the following entities:
  1. Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness
  2. Entergy New Orleans (ENO)
  3. Delta Utilities
  4. Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO)
     
  1. Resolution – Emergency Communications Plan
    The committee will consider a resolution directing ENO to develop and submit an emergency communications plan. UD-21-01
     
  2. Resolution – Energy Smart Program Years 16-18
    The committee will consider a resolution to establish a procedural schedule for parties to evaluate ENO’s Application for Approval of the Implementation Plan for Energy Smart Program Years 16-18. UD-23-01
     
  3. Resolution – Chapter 158 Docket
    The committee will consider a resolution to establish a procedural schedule for interested parties to evaluate proposed revisions to Chapter 158 of the Code of Ordinances. UD-25-01
     
  4. Motion – Administrative Hearing Officer RFQ
    The committee will consider a motion authorizing the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (CURO) to issue a request for qualification (RFQ) for an administrative hearing officer to preside over utility regulatory proceedings
    .
  5. Motion – Outages RFQ
    The committee will consider a motion authorizing CURO to issue a RFQ for an outside consultant to provide services to track and analyze data related utility service outages.
     
  6. Consideration of Contracts Per Council Rule 57
    1. Contract between the City and Southern Disaster Recovery, LLC for emergency debris removal services for Zone 1 for a term of 18 months and amount not to exceed $3,986,671.
    2. Contract between the City and Southern Disaster Recovery, LLC for emergency debris removal services for Zone 2 for a period of 18 months and an amount not to exceed $4,001,296.
    3. Contract between the City and Looks Great Services of MS, Inc. for emergency debris removal services for Zone 3 for a term of 18 months and an amount not to exceed $3,967,715.
