4. Motion No. M-25-469 – For Discussion and Vote - A motion directing the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD)—in coordination with the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (NOHSEP) and the Orleans Parish Communications District (OPCD)—to establish a more expansive local missing person safety alert program for children, seniors, and vulnerable adults, and, in connection therewith, directing the NOPD to amend its policies as necessary to implement the program.
5. Contracts per Council Rule 57 – For Discussion and Vote
a. Sixth Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement between the City and UnitedHealthcare Services, Inc. for bundled healthcare plan for active and retired City employees, to extend the term for one year.
b. Second Amendment to the professional services agreement between the Civil Service Commission and Jay Ginsberg, for hearing officer services, to increase the maximum compensation $20,000, for total of $105,000.
6. Implementation of City Code § 26-622 (Ord. No. 30,074, M.C.S., §1, eff. 8/1/25) – For Discussion - Requiring short-term rental platforms to verify listings before completing a booking transaction. Presenters: Representatives from the Office of Information Technology and Innovation and Department of Safety and Permits
7. Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with PBP, LLC (Contract No. K23-174) – For Discussion - Filming of Homicide Squad: New Orleans. Presenters: Bryan Lagarde (Project NOLA), and Rasha Drachkovitch (44 Blue Productions).
