AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance No. 30531 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2026”, to reappropriate General funds ($2,081,483) from the Department of Public Works – 100 – Personnel Services to Miscellaneous Programs – 100 – Personnel Services and Chief Administrative Office 200 - Other Operating to support other Mayoral priories; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance No. 30530 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2026”, to appropriate Federal funds ($5,018,086) awarded by FEMA to the City of New Orleans to cover emergency cleaning and other services during the aftermath of Hurricane Ida; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance No. 30531 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2026”, to appropriate Federal funds ($5,018,086) awarded by FEMA to the City of New Orleans to cover emergency cleaning and other services during the aftermath of Hurricane Ida; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance No. 30530 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2026”, to appropriate funds ($27,200) to the New Orleans Police Department for additional funding to support normal operational expenses; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance No. 30531 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2026”, to appropriate additional funds ($106,591) to the Office of Housing Policy and Community Development from The Shelter Plus Grant Program. The initial estimated budgeted amount to operate the program was $609,425.00 and the awarded amount was $716,016; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

AN ORDINANCE to amend and re-ordain Ordinance No. 30,141 M.C.S., entitled “An Ordinance Providing a Capital Budget for the Year 2025” in accordance with the provisions of Sections 3-117 and 4-206(1)(f) of the Home Rule Charter of the City of New Orleans; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  It rolls over the 2025 Capital Budget, except the de-appropriations ($85,791,999) listed for DDD, Federal Aid, FEMA Katrina, HMGP, Miscellaneous Insurance funds, Miscellaneous Capital funds, Permanent Revolver, Reimbursed FEMA funds, and State Aid.

24.  CAL. NO. 35,376 (Introduced March 12, 2026) - BY:   COUNCILMEMBERS HARRIS, MORRELL, WILLARD AND MCCARRON (BY REQUEST)

AN ORDINANCE to amend and re-ordain Ordinance No. 30,532 M.C.S., entitled “An Ordinance Providing a Capital Budget for the Year 2026”, to effect the following change to the 2026 Capital Budget: to de-appropriate funds ($2,511,741) from the Department of Property Management, the Office of Resilience and Sustainability, and the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission; to appropriate funds ($11,558,241) to the Department of Property Management, the Department of Public Works, the New Orleans Fire Department, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, and the Office of Resilience and Sustainability; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
