- Public Utility Modernization Process Subgroup (“PUMPS”)
a. Presentation - Representatives from the administration will present on the work of PUMPS and the future of the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (“SWBNO”).
b. Resolution – The committee will consider a resolution outlining considerations for the future work of PUMPS
- Ordinance Cal. No. 35,521 – SWBNO Governance
The committee will consider an ordinance to establish new regulations for SWBNO governance and operations.
a. Amendment (Sponsored by: McCarron, Hughes, Morrell, and Willard)
- Resolution – SWBNO Audit
The committee will consider a resolution requesting the Louisiana Legislative Auditor conduct a review of SWBNO finances.
- Motion – SWBNO Bylaws
The committee will consider a motion directing the SWBNO board of directors to develop new bylaws, including a review of procurement practices and combining the executive director and superintendent positions.
- Motion – Civil Service Review
The committee will consider a motion directing the Civil Service Commission to review compensation for SWBNO executive management team and to identify potential overlap between job descriptions for SWBNO and administration employees.
- Resolution – City Infrastructure Project List
The committee will consider a resolution to amend the bond-eligible City Infrastructure Project List, as originally established by Resolution No. R-25-427 and as amended and restated by Resolution No. R-25-524.
