Councilwoman Nguyen Releases Additional Information on Six Flags RFQ Responses

NEW ORLEANS - During the Selection Review Committee meeting for the Six Flags, RFQ held on Tuesday, March 16, broad overviews of the respondents' submittals were provided and discussed orally during the meeting, but the full scope of each proposal was not fully outlined or discussed in depth. 

 

More details on the shortlist submitted proposals are given below for additional transparency and information surrounding the RFQ selection process. Residents should be reminded that due to the nature of this RFQ and resulting shortlist, the proposals submitted during the first round of the RFQ may not be the final proposals submitted by each respondent, and are subject to change as the second stage of the RFQ process progresses.

COVID-19 Vaccines Now Available at New Orleans East Pharmacies in Limited Supply

NEW ORLEANS - COVID-19 vaccinations are now available in limited supply at certain pharmacies in the City of New Orleans this week. 

Eligible individuals are limited to:

  • People 70 and older;
  • Individuals in end-stage renal disease facility personnel and patients; 
  • Ambulatory and outpatient health care workers;
  • Home agency patients and workers; and 
  • Schools of allied health students, residents and staff.

NEW ORLEANS - To honor first responders who will protect and serve our City on Christmas Day, Councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen is joining the New Orleans Nightmare women’s football team, New Orleans Crescent City VooDoux Women’s Basketball Team will deliver holiday gift baskets to the New Orleans Police Department district stations, New Orleans Fire Department stations, and the New Orleans EMS Headquarters on Christmas morning.

NOLA Tree Project to Host its Annual Big TREEsy Giveaway in District "E"

NEW ORLEANS - NOLA Tree Project will host their annual Big TREEsy Giveaway in District "E" on Saturday, November 21, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This event, sponsored by Councilwoman Nguyen and Entergy, will giveaway 500 free trees to Orleans Parish residents. Limit one tree per household, with additional trees available for purchase at $15 each. Residents must present a picture ID to claim their tree, and there will be more than 20 types of trees available.
