New Facebook Live Series "Do You kNO-LA?" to Educate and Entertain Listeners Second Saturday of Each Month

NEW ORLEANS - On the second Saturday each month broadcast over Facebook Live, Courtney Mpagi, resident of District E and host of "Do you kNO-LA?" will lead contestants through three rounds of questions with a chance to win different prizes each round. The final round will be a cash grand prize round. It will be fun and interactive, with the viewing audience having a chance to win prizes as well.

Councilwoman Nguyen Partners with JOB1 to Provide Youth Work Experiences in District E

NEW ORLEANS - The JOB1 Summer Work Experience Program is a partnership between JOB1 and other organizations that allow young adults ages 14-24 to do career exploration. The seven-week summer program, shorter than the traditional Work Experience program that runs year-round, exposes participants to both soft and hard skills needed in the workplace with on-the-job experience.
