NEW ORLEANS - This year, Christmas will look a little different in District "E" and across the entire City of New Orleans. Our annual holiday traditions, along with many aspects of our daily life, will need to change due to COVID-19. For the last two years, Councilmember Cyndi Nguyen and partners have put on the Jingle on the Boulevard Parade in District E, with the inaugural Jingle Ball in 2019. According to Councilwoman Nguyen, while her office fully intends to host that event again in the future, right now they are pivoting to keep families and friends safe this holiday season.  

NEW ORLEANS - At the regular City Council meeting on March 5, 2020, District "E" Councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen put forth a resolution (R-20-76) urging the City of New Orleans to amend Chapters 1 - 170 of the City Code and replace all male-centric verbiage with gender-neutral terminology.

NEW ORLEANS - District "E" Councilmember Cyndi Nguyen invites constituents to join her at two upcoming workshops for adults and seniors to learn more about managing their finances. 

"It is imperative that we count each and every resident living in District 'E' to ensure that we get our fair share of federal, state, and local funding."

NEW ORLEANS - District "E" Councilmember Cyndi Nguyen invites residents to attend an upcoming community fitness event on Saturday, August 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Joe Brown Park. Family Fitness Warrior 2019 will provide families a chance to race for a grand prize of $1,000 in addition to enjoying games, local vendors, raffles, and more.
