NEW ORLEANS, LA – At its regular meeting today, the Council adopted an Ordinance to authorize the City to enter into a Lease Agreement at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport with GAT Airline Ground Support Inc. The Council also adopted an Ordinance that authorizes the Mayor to enter into an Amendment to an agreement between the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) and the Orleans Parish Communication District to continue to facilitate the Fire Station Alerting System Project, along with other pieces of legislation.

NEW ORLEANS, LA – At the regular meeting today, the Council approved an Ordinance authorizing the City to enter into a lease agreement with S&M Collections Center LLC. It also adopted an Ordinance to enter into a Cooperative Endeavour Agreement (CEA) with the State’s Office of Community Development, allowing the New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) to receive disaster-recovery funds. In addition, the Council passed a Resolution supporting the redevelopment of Plaza Tower and other measures.

NEW ORLEANS, LA – At its regular meeting today, the City Council authorized a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement to fund roadway and right-of-way infrastructure improvements within the River District and to redirect funding toward the development of affordable housing, such as the planned Rivana Apartments project. The Council also adopted an Ordinance to establish the City of New Orleans Employee Emergency Payroll Fund, among other measures.

NEW ORLEANS, LA – At the regular meeting today, the City Council authorized a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) between the City and the Orleans Parish Communications District, as well as a motion to designate the intersection of Valence Street and Magnolia Street as the “Big Chief Monk Boudreaux Honorary Intersection.” The Council also adopted a resolution stating the it will work with the Orleans Parish delegation of the Louisiana Legislature concerning patient access to essential medications–specifically misoprostol and mifepristone.

NEW ORLEANS, LA – At the regular meeting today, Thursday, October 9, 2025, the Council authorized an amendment to an existing CEA between the City and the Audubon Commission for the design and construction of improvements to the Audubon Riverview, Audubon Park, and Waldenberg Park. The Council also identified several organizations selected to receive funds under various Grant Programs, including the Caesars Community Support Grant Program and the City Council/Cox Communications Louisiana Grant Program. Additionally, the Council adopted a resolution to designate October 2025 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in New Orleans.
