Councilmember Brossett and Partners to Host Free Food Pantry and Meal Distribution for Those Struggling During COVID-1
NEW ORLEANS - District "D" Councilmember Jared Brossett is partnering with Culture Aid NOLA, Second Harvest Food BankBeacon Light Baptist ChurchNew Orleans Musicians ClinicMaCCNO, 504HealthNet and Trinity Loaves and Fishes to host a free food pantry for residents and families impacted by COVID-19 on Tuesday, April 21, from 6 to 9 PM at Beacon Light Baptist Church.
Drive-ups are encouraged, but walk-ups will be accepted. There is no paperwork or ID required.
"I am deeply grateful for all of these partners for helping to make this food pantry possible, in addition to all of the incredible work they've done and continue to do for New Orleanians struggling to stay afloat during COVID-19," said Councilmember Brossett. "These are obviously unprecedented times for all of us, but I'm proud to be able to provide this much-needed relief for our friends and neighbors as we continue to fight this together."
