Councilmember Palmer and Partners to Host Drive-Thru Food Pantry on Friday and Saturday

NEW ORLEANS - District "C" Councilmember Kristin Gisleson Palmer will host two drive-thru food pantries this week for residents impacted by COVID-19 thanks to a continued partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank and Culture Aid NOLA.The food distributions will take place on Friday, April 9, in Algiers and Saturday, April 10, in Treme.

 

Since March 2020, Councilmember Palmer has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank, World Central Kitchen, and Culture Aid NOLA to distribute more than 602,000 pounds of food to families and individuals financially impacted by COVID-19. As a reminder, documentation is not required to receive a food pantry box, and walk-ups are welcomed.
