NEW ORLEANS- Recent deportations violating Constitutional rights are incredibly concerning, including the deportation of American citizens. We cannot stand for the erosion of due process and people’s rights.

I will continue to implore that Federal authorities are held accountable under the law. I’m grateful to our Congressman Troy Carter who is pushing for that accountability and preservation of rights. I will continue to lend my voice and support to advocates and attorneys in this critical fight.
