NEW ORLEANS, LA– Councilman Freddie King has arranged a large-scale cleanup of Norman Playground, scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd at 8:00 AM. This initiative is being conducted in partnership with S&A Construction & Landscaping, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC), InspireNola Charter Schools, and Richard's Disposal.

While we are hopeful for clear weather, we acknowledge the potential for rain and will provide updates as we approach the weekend. 

The cleanup will take place at Norman Playground, 3301 Eton St., New Orleans, LA 70131. The project aims to enhance the park's facilities and environment by clearing overgrown grass and weeds, removing debris, repairing fencing, grading the basketball court area, replacing the park entrance path, repainting metal structures, and installing access gates and more.
