Council Defeats Ordinances Relative to Acquisition of the Chevron Building as the Site for a New City Hall
In a Special Council meeting held today at 2 p.m. in the Council Chamber, the City Council defeated Ordinance Calendar Nos. 27,552 and 27,563, relative to the acquisition of the Chevron Building, located at 935 Gravier Street, as the site for a new City Hall.
