NEW ORLEANS - To honor first responders who will protect and serve our City on Christmas Day, Councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen is joining the New Orleans Nightmare women’s football team, New Orleans Crescent City VooDoux Women’s Basketball Team will deliver holiday gift baskets to the New Orleans Police Department district stations, New Orleans Fire Department stations, and the New Orleans EMS Headquarters on Christmas morning.
“This is to thank all of our first responders who go above and beyond each day, but especially during the holidays. They sacrifice time with their families and loved ones to provide public safety for our city, and this special delivery is to show support for their vital services,” said Councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen.
Each of the NOPD District Stations and NOFD Stations will receive a gift basket of holiday goodies to eat throughout the day. Donations are being excepted by the New Orleans EMS Foundation to be distributed to the paramedics and EMTs of New Orleans EMS.
