NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the November 2024 settlement between the City of New Orleans and the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB), the state of the General Fund in the City’s Operating Budget, federal funding, and sudden alleged budget shortfalls.
Members of OPSB, the Law Department, Chief Administrative Officer Montano’s Office, and the Department of Finance will be invited to participate, along with any other relevant departments and/or individuals.
