NEW ORLEANS — District 'C' Councilmember Freddie King has released the following statement in response to the Administration's recent announcement regarding vehicular traffic on Bourbon Street:
"Our office has not been contacted by the Administration regarding any changes to vehicular traffic on Bourbon Street. Public safety is my top priority, and I recognize the importance of improving safety measures in and around this area. Any decisions on this issue should be made with input from affected residents, business owners, and hospitality workers. I look forward to discussing future plans with the mayor and ensuring that the voices of the French Quarter community are heard."
