NEW ORLEANS — District 'D' Councilmember Eugene Green and NOLA Hub member organizations, including Covenant House, the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office, and Voices of the Victims of Crime, will hold a press conference to discuss continued efforts to eliminate human trafficking through the 2025 Carnival season on Wednesday, February 19, at 4:30 p.m. at the Orleans Parish Prison.
Since its launch to combat human trafficking at Super Bowl 2025, partner organizations of the NOLA Hub have helped over a dozen survivors of human trafficking find appropriate services. These efforts will continue through the Carnival season, with the goal of combatting human trafficking in New Orleans.
