Councilmember Oliver Thomas Issues Statement on Merger of Youth and Family Services into Health Department
NEW ORLEANS, LA — District E Councilmember Oliver M. Thomas released the following statement regarding the Office of Youth and Family Services being absorbed into the New Orleans Health Department:

"With the Office of Youth and Family Services being merged with the New Orleans Health Department, I would like to encourage the continued success that they have experienced over the last several years. As Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee, I was particularly impressed with the work of the Detention Center and the After School Program. It is my hope that this improvement continues."
