Community Meeting on Illegal Dumping in District C Scheduled for July 9th

NEW ORLEANS - The District C community is invited to participate in an important meeting addressing the growing issue of illegal dumping. This meeting will take place on July 9th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the NOPD 4th District, located at 3320 Wall Blvd. 

Councilman Freddie King, representatives from the Sanitation Department, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), and the Department of Homeland Security will be in attendance to discuss the impact of illegal dumping on our neighborhoods and to engage with residents on potential solutions.

Illegal dumping poses significant challenges to community safety, public health, and environmental integrity. This collaborative meeting aims to raise awareness, gather community input, and outline actionable steps to combat this pressing issue.

Residents are encouraged to attend and share their experiences, ideas, and suggestions. Together, we can strengthen our community and take meaningful steps towards ensuring that our neighborhoods remain clean and vibrant.
