Councilmember Kristin Palmer and Partners to Offer Meals and Non-perishable Food Items to Local Seniors and Hospitality Workers
NEW ORLEANS - In partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, District "C" Councilmember Kristin Gisleson Palmer will be providing a free drive-up food pantry for hospitality and gig economy workers affected by COVID-19.
 
The drive-up food pantry will take place on Friday, March 20, at 3500 St. Claude Avenue from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additional dates and locations will be provided from Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27, and further information will be released in the coming weeks.

Councilmember Palmer has also partnered with NOLA Tree Project to deliver hot meals to seniors and homebound residents Mondays through Fridays from 3 - 5 p.m. Additionally, the NOLA Tree Project will be distributing free hot meals for pick up at 1509 Filmore Ave.
