Sankofa NOLA to Host Nature-Focused Earth Day Event in District E for Students and Community

NEW ORLEANS - District "E" Councilmember Cyndi Nguyen invites constituents to join her at two upcoming workshops for adults and seniors to learn more about managing their finances. 

 

The first event specifically designed to help seniors avoid financial exploitation will take place on Thursday, March 19, at Villa St. Maurice at 1 p.m.

The second workshop to provide adults with the basics of money management, understanding of credit reports and tips for saving, will take place on Saturday, March 21, at the MLK Library at 10 a.m. Those interested may register by email to betteperez@comcast.net or by calling 707-696-5310.

 

Both events are free and open to the public. However, limited space is available, so pre-registration will be required.
