NEW ORLEANS - District "E' Councilmember Cyndi Nguyen is set to visit renowned retail real estate conference RECon later this month to stimulate interest in real estate in New Orleans East amongst international developers. The trip is a part of Councilmember Nguyen's overall vision to make New Orleans East a premier destination in local economic development.

Hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centers, RECon focuses on ensuring retail real estate plays an integral role in the social, civic and economic vibrancy of communities across the globe. Each year, the conference hosts nearly 40,000 individuals from around the world.

The New Orleans Business Alliance has reserved a booth at the upcoming annual event in Las Vegas and has invited Councilmember Nguyen alongside the Downtown Development District (DDD), Algiers Development District, and other local development stakeholders to participate and support their efforts to attract new, national businesses to the city. This will mark Councilmember Nguyen's second visit to RECon representing District "E" and the City of New Orleans.
