Councilmember Helena Moreno Releases Annual Report on Progress Toward a Safer, More Equitable, and More Affordable New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS - Today, Councilmember-At-Large Helena Moreno released a report reflecting on her first year in office and recounting the progress the City has made toward greater safety, equity, and affordability since the new Council and Mayor were sworn in just one year ago.

"I am so proud to have the opportunity to work for all New Orleanians as Councilmember At-Large. Over the past year, I have continued to focus on delivering on what I believe is our shared vision: a safer, more affordable, and more equitable New Orleans. Traveling throughout our city, I have heard from so many of you about your concerns, frustrations, and your inspirations. My job is to listen, to work with you side-by-side, and to build consensus around solutions. We've made some important progress over the past year. Now, as your next Council President, I look forward to making a lot more. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to serve. I look forward to earning your continued support as we build the innovative, prosperous and equitable City we all deserve," said Councilmember Moreno.

The full annual report can be accessed here.
