Budget Hearing

City Council to Hold 2019 Proposed Budget Hearings

NEW ORLEANS - In accordance with Section 3-115 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of New Orleans, the New Orleans City Council will hold hearings on the Mayor's proposed 2019 Budget beginning on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at 9 a.m. in the Council Chamber. All budget meetings will be advertised on the Council's website and open to the public.

All 2019 budget hearings are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. The Council will make every effort to conduct hearings efficiently by maintaining strict time limitations for presentations and public comment, however, revisions to this schedule are subject to occur. Accordingly, agencies that are not included in the initially published schedule may be asked to attend a hearing prior budget adoption.

Hearing dates for individual departments and agencies are as follows:
