Public Works, Sanitation and Environment Committee
NEW ORLEANS, LA - On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Public Works Committee held a meeting to discuss a Professional Services Agreement between the City of New Orleans and Digital Engineering and Imaging, Inc. for engineering and construction management services for the redevelopment of Lincoln Beach.
Lincoln Beach Redevelopment Contract
Before Day Nine of the 2026 Proposed Budget Hearings, the Public Works Committee recommended a Professional Services Agreement between the City and Digital Engineering and Imaging, Inc., for approval by the Council. The contract relates to professional engineering and construction management services for the redevelopment of Lincoln Beach. The contract would last for three years at a cost of $1,946,477.75.
It's important to note that the funding for this contract comes from bond funds, which have been specifically allocated for the redevelopment project. These funds will help the project advance past the design phase and into the first stage of construction.
