NEW ORLEANS, LA —Councilmember Green proudly congratulates The Roots of Music on the establishment of their new campus in the Gentilly Woods neighborhood of District D and invites the public to join the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating this important milestone.

“For years, The Roots of Music has been an anchor in nurturing the musical talent and personal growth of young people across New Orleans,” said Councilmember Green.“ Their new headquarters in District D will strengthen this legacy while helping to revitalize a vibrant, emerging community. This campus represents opportunity, culture, and progress — values that are at the heart of our city.”

The Roots of Music’s new campus will serve as a hub for music and mentorship, empowering the next generation through education, discipline, and the rich musical traditions of the city.
