5.  Ordinance Cal. No. 33,689 - (Introduced April 7, 2022) by Councilmember Morrell

This Ordinance amends and reordain Division 1 of Article III in Section 70 of the Code of the City of New Orleans; to ordain Sections 70-87. through 70-89. of the Code of the City of New Orleans within said Division; and otherwise, to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Requesting  monthly, proposed, and adopted budget reports regarding “Fund Balances of all Operating Funds appropriated by the City” from the Department of Finance, to be presented to the Budget, Audit, and Board of Review Committee on or before June 1, 2022 through December 1, 2022 (as stated on line no’s 5, 24, and 42 of this Ordinance), which would increase transparency in budgeting via the City Council to effectively review department programs, practices, or other operations prior to expenditure of funds.   

6.  Ordinance Cal. No. 33,690 - (Introduced April 7, 2022) by Councilmember Morrell

This Ordinance amends and reordain Division 1 of Article III in Section 70 of the Code of the City of New Orleans; to ordain Sections 70-84. through 70-87. of the Code of the City of New Orleans within said Division; and otherwise, to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Requesting monthly, proposed, and adopted budget reports regarding “Full-Time Equivalents of all Operating Funds appropriated by the City” from the Department of Finance, to be presented to the Budget, Audit, and Board of Review Committee on or before June 1, 2022 through December 1, 2022 (as stated on line no’s 5, 22, and 40 of this Ordinance), which would increase transparency in budgeting via the City Council to effectively review department programs, practices, or other operations prior to expenditure of funds.

7.  Update on the Sewerage and Water Board Substation

8.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,691 and 33,692 - (Introduced April 7, 2022) by Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Morrell, Green and Thomas (by Request)   

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,550 M.C.S. and 28,551 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2022”; to appropriate State Capital Outlay Funds awarded by the State of Louisiana Facility Planning and Control (“FP&C”) to the City of New Orleans for the Sewerage and Water Board Power Plant FP&C Project No. 50-ML3-18-02; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description: Transferring $20,000,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues - State Capital Outlay Funds for the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans Power Plant project.

9.  Ordinance Cal. Nos. 33,693 and 33,694 - (Introduced April 21, 2022) by Councilmembers Giarrusso, Moreno, Morrell, Green and Thomas (by Request)   

These Ordinances amend Ordinances Nos. 28,862 M.C.S. and 28,863 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2022”; to appropriate funds that will be used to support a Lower Ninth Ward Main Street initiative led by Sankofa Community Development Corporation; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto:

Description:  Transferring $250,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Office of Economic Development - 2132 (FUND 1000) to support the Lower Ninth Ward Main Street initiative.
