3.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,294 and 34,295 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate unspent funds to the Law Department for various state settlement and judgment payments; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $3,342,817 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Judgement Fund (FUND 5139) in the Law Department in Other Operating (200).

4.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,296 and 34,297 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate funds to the Department of Public Works for Indigent Defender fees on red light camera tickets; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:Transfer $1,100,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Indigent Defender (FUND 5112) in Public Works in Other Operating (200).     

5.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,298 and 34,299 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate funds to the Orleans Parish Public Defender’s Office within Miscellaneous Programs for criminal defense representation to Indigent persons accused of committing crimes in Orleans Parish; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $445,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the General Fund (FUND 1000) in Miscellaneous Programs in Other Operating (200).  

6.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,300 and 34,301 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate additional one-time grant funds awarded to the Healthcare for the Homeless Program to expand COVID-19 health center services; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $27,500 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Department of Health and Human Services (FUND 4145) to the Health Department in Other Operating (200).

7.  ORD. CAL. NO. 34,320 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to transfer grant funds from Other Operating (200) to Personal Services (100) within the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $150,000 from the Federal Department of Homeland Security (FUND 4136) in Other Operating (200) to the Federal Department of Homeland Security in Personal Services (100).

8.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,321 and 34,322 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate State Act 170 funds awarded to the Office of the Mayor for initiatives to support Strategic Economic Development plans and beautification projects in various communities; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $700,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the General Fund (FUND 1000) to the Office of the Mayor in Other Operating (200).

9.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,323 and 34,324 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate FEMA grant funds to the Office of Homeland Security for the Flood Mitigation Assistance Swift Program; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $784,496 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Department of Emergency (FUND 4115) to the Office of the Mayor in Other Operating (200).

10.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,325 and 34,326 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate reimbursement funds from Downtown Development District to the Office of Community Development for the Code Enforcement Unit; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $141,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to Housing and Environmental Improvement (FUND 5110) to the Office of the Mayor in Personal Services (100).

11.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,327 and 34,328 – BY:  COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate FEMA grant funds to the Office of Homeland Security for Flood Mitigation Assistance in Orleans Parish; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $3,029,325 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Department of Emergency (FUND 4115) to the Office of the Mayor in Other Operating (200).

12.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,329 and 34,330 - BY:   COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate funds awarded by the Federal Communications Commission to the Office of Resilience and Sustainability for the New Orleans Broadband Outreach and Equity Program; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description:  Transfer $370,950 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Federal Communications Commission (FUND 4122) to the Office of the Mayor in Other Operating (200).

13.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,349 and 34,350 – BY: COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate funds to the Office of Community Development for the Hometown Revitalization and Resilient Communities Programs; and otherwise provide with respect thereto.  Description: Transfer $11,720,109 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Louisiana Office of Community Development (FUND 4401) to the Office of Community Development Personal Services (100) $1,758,016, and Other Operating (200) $9,962,093.

14.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,351 and 34,352 – BY: COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grant funds to the Fire Department for the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description: Transfer $33,169 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to Federal Department of Emergency (FUND 4115) to the Fire Department in Other Operating (200).

15.  ORD. CAL. NOS. 34,353 and 34,354 – BY: COUNCILMEMBERS GIARRUSSO, MORENO, GREEN AND THOMAS (BY REQUEST) For Discussion and Vote

These ordinances amend Ordinance Nos. 29265 M.C.S. and 29266 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2023”, to appropriate grant funds to the Chief Administrative Office for the Lincoln Beach Permeable Parking Lot; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.  Description: Transfers $41,230 from Intergovernmental Revenues (FUND 6699) to the Environmental Protection Agency (FUND 4132) to the Chief Administrative Office in Other Operating (200).
