These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29735 M.C.S. and 29736 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2024”, to appropriate an additional $109,085,404 for Intergovernmental Revenues and Expenditures; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

Description:  These Ordinances transfer an additional $109,085,404 in Intergovernmental Revenues and Expenditures (FUND 6699).

Description:  These Ordinances transfers $3,000,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (Fund 6699) to the General Fund (Fund 1000) in the Chief Administrative Office (200 – Other Operating)

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29735 M.C.S. and 29736 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2024”, to appropriate additional Capital Outlay funds awarded by the State of Louisiana Facility Planning and Control Board (FP&C) to the Chief Administrative Office for the Sewerage and Water Board Power Plant FP&C Project No. 50-ML3-18-02; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

Description:  These Ordinances transfers $15,000,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (Fund 6699) to the Louisiana Dept. of Administration (Fund 4404) in the Chief Administrative Office (200 – Other Operating)

This Ordinance amends Ordinance No. 29736 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2024”, to transfer funds from the Department of Safety and Permits to the Department of Code Enforcement for the Centralized Adjudication Bureau; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

Description:  This Ordinance transfers $400,000 from the General Fund (Fund 1000) in the Department of Safety and Permits ($300,000 – 100 Personal Services; $100,000 – 200 Other Operating) to the General Fund (Fund 1000) in the Department of Code Enforcement ($300,000 – 100 Personal Services; $100,000 – 200 Other Operating).

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29735 M.C.S. and 29736 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2024”, to appropriate grant funds to the Health Department for Emergency Medical Services to purchase computers, virtual reality headsets required for VR (virtual reality) training and (6) pre-hospital ultrasound machines; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

Description:  These Ordinances transfers $73,878 from Intergovernmental Revenues (Fund 6699) to the Federal Dept. of Emergency (Fund 4115) in the Health Dept. (200 – Other Operating)

These Ordinances amend Ordinance No’s. 29735 M.C.S. and 29736 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Revenues and Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2024”, to appropriate grant funds to the Department of Health for Emergency Medical Services to hire and train a NOEMS Project Coordinator, three Outreach Coordinators with Odyssey House and to purchase (350) Narcan kits; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

Description:  These Ordinances transfer $1,261,771 from Intergovernmental Revenues (Fund 6699) to the Federal Dept. of Justice (Fund 4147) in the Health Dept. ($894,661 – 100 Personal Services; $367,110 – 200 Other Operating).

Description:  These Ordinances transfers $128,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (Fund 6699) to Private Grants (Fund 4900) in the Office of the Mayor (200 – Other Operating)

Description:  These Ordinances transfers $4,142,371 from Intergovernmental Revenues (Fund 6699) to the French Quarter Development District (Fund 5128) in the Police Dept. ($2,827,257 – 100 Personal Services) and the Chief Administrative Office ($1,315,114 – 200 Other Operating).

Description:  These Ordinances transfers $25,000,000 from Intergovernmental Revenues (Fund 6699) to the General Fund (Fund 1000) in the Chief Administrative Office (200 – Other Operating)

15.  Resolution No. R-24-82  (Introduced March 7, 2024)

This Resolution approves the Eleventh Supplemental Sewerage Service Revenue Bond Resolution in connection with the issuance of the not exceeding Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000) Sewerage Service Revenue Bonds of the City of New Orleans, Louisiana; approving the terms, security, and manner of execution of said bonds; and providing for other matters in connection with the foregoing.

16.  Resolution No. R-24-83  (Introduced March 7, 2024)

This Resolution provides for the preliminary approval for the issuance of not exceeding Ninety Million Dollars ($90,000,000) of City of New Orleans Water Revenue Bonds to be paid solely and exclusively from water revenues collected by the Sewerage and Water Board.

17.  Resolution No. R-24-86  (Introduced March 7, 2024)

This Resolution approves the Tenth Supplemental Sewerage Service Revenue Bond Resolution in connection with the issuance of the not exceeding Thirty-Eight Million Nine Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($38,948,200) Sewerage Service Revenue Bonds of the City of New Orleans, Louisiana; approving the terms, security, and manner of execution of said bonds; and providing for other matters in connection with the foregoing.

19.  Presentation from Sunae Villavaso from the Office of Workforce Development regarding summer jobs preparation:

  • Ordinances will provide an additional $2.1M to the Office of Workforce Development for 700 additional summer job spots for a total of 1,000 spots. These ordinances will be filed for first reads at the March 7th Council meeting and are for discussion purposes only.
