3. Contracts – Consider for approval and execution per Council Rule 57
a. Agreement with Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, as fiscal agent for the State of Louisiana Gulf Coast High Intensive Drug Traffic Area (“HIDTA”) program, to provide Police Department personnel for law enforcement in the HIDTA. The City will receive $54,885 in federal grant funds for the agreement term of two years (01/01/24 – 12/31/25).
b. Agreement with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to lease office space for use by the Police Department. The maximum lease amount is $60,000 for a term of five years (01/01/24 – 12/31/29).
4. Public Safety Agencies Quarterly Reports – Updates on public safety initiatives and identified legislative, financial, or operational issues per City Code § 2-61
a. Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, Judge Tracey Flemings-Davillier and Magistrate Judge Juana Lombard and/or representative
