4. Contracts for Recommendation of Approval and Execution per Council Rule 57 – For Discussion and Vote
(a) Amendment No. 5 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of New Orleans and Foley & Judell, L.L.P., to extend an existing contract for legal services related to economic development, for an additional one year.
(b) Amendment No. 5 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of New Orleans Civil Service Commission and Bruce Hamilton, an attorney to serve as a hearing examiner for Civil Service disciplinary appeals.
(c) Amendment No. 5 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of New Orleans Civil Service Commission and Big Easy Law Group, LLC., represented by Jenny Abshir authorized agent an attorney to serve as a hearing examiner for Civil Service disciplinary appeals. 
5. Ord. Cal. No. 34,806 – By: Councilmember Morrell – For Discussion and Vote. An Ordinance to require short-term rental platforms to verify the legal eligibility of a short-term rental through an electronic verification system before completing a booking transaction for the short-term rental.
6. Ord. Cal. No. 34,817 – By: Councilmember Morrell – For Discussion and Vote. An Ordinance to amend and reordain Chapter 26, Sections 26-240 and 26-656 of the Code of the City of New Orleans, to establish the requirement that a carbon monoxide detector be maintained in every residential dwelling within the boundaries of Orleans Parish. 
7. Resolution R-24-621 – By: Councilmembers Morrell and Moreno –For Discussion and Vote. A Resolution recognizing American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME) union as an exclusive bargaining agent for City employees under the City’s Collective Bargaining Ordinance. 
8. Department of Public Works Personnel Matters - Discussion regarding reports of violations of department policies and Civil Service Rules.
