NEW ORLEANS -District "E" Councilmember Cyndi Nguyen will join Lt. Brendan Rogers and Will Bassett as a guest judge at the New Orleans Public Library Summer Fun and Reading Challenge Finale Talent Show on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Library, 1611 Caffin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117.

The New Orleans Public Library' Summer Fun and Reading Challenge began Friday, June 1, and has provided hundreds of free activities for children, teens and adults throughout the summer such as reading challenges, adult writing contests and prize raffles. The talent show is a part of the programs summer finale party showcasing the talents from the local community.

All ages are eligible to apply, and acts are suggested to be 2-5 minutes. To sign up or learn more, click here or visit a local library.
