NEW ORLEANS - Today, the New Orleans City Council passed an ordinance amending Section 2-975 of the City Code to exempt City inspectors from the City’s domicile requirement. This change will improve the enforcement of building codes and life safety standards by expanding the pool of qualified applicants for inspector positions.
