    UD-20-01: Resolution And Order Establishing A Docket To Streamline Entergy New Orleans Reporting Requirements To The New Orleans City Council And Accompanying Procedural Schedule

    Council Docket UD-20-01, established via Resolution R-20-223, evaluates Entergy New Orleans’ (“ENO”) current reporting requirements to the New Orleans City Council for each Council docket and seeks input from ENO, the Advisors, and interested parties as to which reports remain relevant to the Council’s regulatory responsibilities and whether ENO’s reporting requirements can be more efficiently streamlined.  The Council wishes to streamline ENO’s reporting obligations in order to mitigate regulatory costs and increase efficiency.

    Pertinent docket deadline dates are/were as follows: 

    • July 16, 2020 – July 31, 2020 – Interested parties intervened in the docket and filed motions to intervene with the Clerk of Council;
       
    • September 14, 2020 – Comments from all parties, including Council Advisors, regarding the Streamline Docket, shall be filed;
       
    • October 14, 2020 – Reply comments shall be filed;
       
    • November 18, 2020 – A Recommendation Memorandum from the Council Utilities Regulatory Office shall be filed.
       
    • December 3, 2020 – Comments regarding the Recommendation Memorandum shall be filed by parties.
       
    • May 6, 2021 – City Council adopted Resolution R-21-151 streamlining Entergy New Orleans’ Reporting Requirements to the New Orleans City Council. 
       
    • December 30, 2022 – Deadline for ENO to provide an updated list of all reporting requirements to the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (“CURO”) each year no later than December 30th beginning 2022. 
       
    • March 30, 2023 – * Deadline for CURO to file and distribute to the Service List a biennial report with the Council providing an updated list detailing ENO’s reporting requirements no later than March 30th beginning 2023. 
       
    • May 1, 2023 – Deadline for Parties to submit comments on CURO’s report requesting changes to the reporting requirements, including requests to include reports that may have been omitted from CURO’s report that parties feel should be included for consideration.  
       
    • July 13, 2023 – Council adopted Resolution R-23-306 streamlining ENO’s 2023 Reporting Requirements;  
       
    • ​January 30, 2024 – Deadline for ENO to provide an updated list of all reporting requirements to the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (“CURO”) each year no later than January 30th beginning 2024 per Resolution R-23-306 deadline modification;

    • January 30, 2025 – Deadline for ENO to provide an updated list of all reporting requirements to the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (“CURO”) each year no later than January 30th per Resolution R-23-306 deadline modification;
       
    • March 30, 2025 – * Deadline for CURO to file and distribute to the Service List a biennial report with the Council that provides an updated list detailing ENO’s reporting requirement (no later than March 30th beginning 2023).
       
    • May 1, 2025 – Deadline for Parties to submit comments on CURO’s report requesting changes to the reporting requirements, including requests to include reports that may have been omitted from CURO’s report that parties feel should be included for consideration.  Parties comments shall be submitted no later than May 1st of the year in which the biennial report is filed.
       
    • January 30, 2026 – Deadline for ENO to provide its annual updated list of all reporting requirements to the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (“CURO”) per Resolution R-23-306 deadline modification; 
       
    • January 30, 2027 – Deadline for ENO to provide its annual updated list of all reporting requirements to the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (“CURO”) per Resolution R-23-306 deadline modification.
       
    • March 30, 2027 – * Deadline for CURO to file and distribute to the Service List a biennial report with the Council that provides an updated list detailing ENO’s reporting requirement (no later than March 30th beginning 2023).
       
    • May 1, 2027 – Deadline for Parties to submit comments on CURO’s report requesting changes to the reporting requirements, including requests to include reports that may have been omitted from CURO’s report that parties feel should be included for consideration.  Parties comments shall be submitted no later than May 1st of the year in which the biennial report is filed;
       
    • January 30, 2028 – Deadline for ENO to provide its annual updated list of all reporting requirements to the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (“CURO”) per Resolution R-23-306 deadline modification.
       
    • January 30, 2029 – Deadline for ENO to provide its annual updated list of all reporting requirements to the Council Utilities Regulatory Office (“CURO”) per Resolution R-23-306 deadline modification.
       
    • March 30, 2029 – * Deadline for CURO to file and distribute to the Service List a biennial report with the Council that provides an updated list detailing ENO’s reporting requirement (no later than March 30th);
       
    • May 1, 2029 – Deadline for Parties to submit comments on CURO’s report requesting changes to the reporting requirements, including requests to include reports that may have been omitted from CURO’s report that parties feel should be included for consideration.  Parties comments shall be submitted no later than May 1st of the year in which the biennial report is filed
